Warranty & Guarantees
Last updated: 7 September 2025
Overview
We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and the products we supply. This page explains what is covered by our workmanship warranty, how manufacturer warranties apply, what is not covered, and how to make a claim. Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Workmanship warranty
Our workmanship warranty covers defects in the work we perform for a reasonable period after installation (for example, 12 months) unless a different period is stated on your invoice. If a covered workmanship issue arises within the warranty period, we will repair or reperform the work at our cost within a reasonable time.
Manufacturer warranties
Products, parts and filters are covered by the relevant manufacturer warranties, which may have their own conditions and processes. Where we supplied the goods, we will assist you in making a reasonable warranty claim with the manufacturer, including providing proof of purchase and installation details when available.
What is covered
- Defects arising from our installation or workmanship during the warranty period.
- Reasonable labour to rectify covered workmanship issues.
- Support for manufacturer warranty claims on goods we supplied (subject to the manufacturer’s terms).
What is not covered
- Normal wear and tear or consumables reaching end of life (for example, filter cartridges).
- Issues caused by misuse, neglect, accidental damage, unauthorised modification, or failure to follow operating instructions.
- Pre‑existing faults or non‑compliant conditions at the property unrelated to our work.
- Damage from external factors such as flooding, pests, electrical surges, or water quality outside specified limits.
- Consequential or incidental losses (for example, lost profits, water damage to surroundings) except where required by law.
Maintenance responsibilities
To keep systems operating correctly and to retain coverage, you must:
- Follow recommended maintenance, including timely filter replacements and system cleaning.
- Use the product within the specified parameters (for example, water pressure and temperature ranges).
- Promptly report faults and stop using equipment if continued use could worsen the issue.
How to make a warranty claim
To lodge a claim, please provide:
- Your name, contact details and service address.
- Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) and installation date.
- A description of the issue, when it started, and photos or videos if possible.
We will assess your claim and respond within a reasonable timeframe. If a site visit is required, we will arrange an appointment window. For goods covered by manufacturer warranty, we may coordinate with the manufacturer or advise you on next steps.
Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. These rights apply in addition to our workmanship warranty.
Limitations and exclusions
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the remedies set out above and in our Legal terms. This warranty does not cover issues outside our control or caused by conditions not disclosed at the time of installation. If you require after‑hours attendance, additional charges may apply.
Transfer and proof of purchase
Warranties apply to the original installation address and purchaser unless otherwise required by law or stated in writing. Please keep your invoice and any product documentation as proof of purchase.
